Ok… well after a long weekend of Friday set up and worrying if my tent was still there (lets just say my neighbors who anchored the tent by using nails into the street had the nails pull up from the night of ridiculous wind and rain), Saturday pouring rain, Sunday being somewhat perfect, to Monday being beyond hot… it was a wonderful show. Thank you to everyone who trekked the crazy holiday weekend weather! Next on the list of crafty weekends… The Gunpowder River Artfest. There will be 60+ art vendors, live music, food, wine and beer tasting… what more could you want? Hope to see you out and about for what seems to be a great laid back event =)
Make sure to check out the online store! I am currently working on putting new products online. Just added Peep-Peep Cluster Pins and Peep-Peep Cuff Links in 5 different color options.
Random Thought: Where Does the Time Go?
So I will have to admit… I get kinda wrapped up in my own world. If you are a business owner of any type you can understand where I come from. At the moment, I make everything myself all the way to keeping up with my own financial books (oh the day I won’t have to do that anymore will be a glorious day of sunshine, giggles, and throwing my hands in the air like I just don’t care… yeah I went there). Anyway, I notice I get so involved with what I am doing in my own little world of metal work, felting, and peeping, that I forget to take moments to myself or even with the people that support me the most, family and friends. So this little random thought blurb is for all my family and friends that have and still do support me through all the crazy times of me missing events, phone calls, and anything else that I may flake out on. It is not that I don’t care… but as a maker I get so excited to make new things, express different thoughts through the creative process, and well going to a different location every weekend. And to all those makers I am telling you to maybe take a few moments today… this week… next week… whenever to sit back look at what you have accomplished and thank the people that have put up with your antics this entire time (I know it’s not just me… being in a relationship with another artist we go through the same “no time no time” mentality). So enjoy making… playing… and taking some time off. Thank You to my wearableJULES supporters.

I’m glad to know you’re thinking of me in your busy schedule ; )
